Kamparians and UTAR staff receive free health screenings through NHSI 2022

In line with the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) goal to provide free health screenings for people above the age of 40, Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Kampar in collaboration with UTAR Division of Human Resource successfully conducted a one-day free health screening service at UTAR Kampar Campus on 20 September 2022.

The programme which is parked under the MoH’s National Health Screening Initiative (NHSI) 2022, attracted a total of 125 visitors from Kampar including UTARians. The visitors received basic free health screenings including physical examination, bio-physical measurements, blood and urine examination, breast cancer screening and pap-smear screening.

The event was conducted with the support of some medical officers and nurses from nearby government health clinics, namely Klinik Kesihatan Kampar, Klinik Kesihatan Malim Nawar, Klinik Kesihatan Gopeng, et cetera.

The response was good and many visitors expressed their gratitude for the good initiative taken by the government in providing free health screening services to people aged above 40.
