UTAR 20th Anniversary Flea Market was organised by the Unovate Centre of UTAR from 23 to 25 August 2022 at both Kampar and Sungai Long Campuses. The objectives of the flea market were to cultivate an entrepreneurial culture in the campus and commemorate the 20th anniversary of UTAR.

The market provided student vendors with hands-on experiences and skills of being a trader and added value to the existing curriculum by including the practical aspect. It also inspired them to start their own venture and create their own company.

The three-day event featured seventeen and eleven booths at Kampar and Sungai Long Campuses respectively. Various products were sold at the flea market such as wristbands, hand sanitiser dispensers, apparel and accessories, food and beverages, cosmetics and skin care products, health and nutrition products, vegetables, test kits, perfumes, home deal products, handmade crafts, stationeries and so on.

According to the information received by the organiser, one of the student vendors had successfully sold around 150 cups of coffee within one-and-a half days at the event. Overall, the UTAR 20th anniversary flea market was a success, with many students participating and learning about what it means to be in the world of business.
