A group of 21 UTAR Bachelor of Communication (Honours) Public Relations (PR) students from Group 2 of the UAMP2033 Event Management Course organised a sub-event titled “Go Fun in Hypeventure’23” on 23 March 2023 at UTAR Kampar Campus.

Parked under the main event “Hype in PR”, this sub-event was held as part of the Faculty of Arts and Social Science’s (FAS) PR programme, UAMP2033 Event Management Course. “Go Fun in Hypeventure’23” aimed to promote the PR programme of UTAR to potential secondary school students in Perak. The event provided comprehensive knowledge on the practice of PR in Malaysia through a series of interactive games related to the PR programme.

This event promotes the UTAR Public Relations course to Pei Yuan High School students by showing them the learning environment at UTAR as well as the career prospects in PR. In addition, this event aids the participants to have a better understanding of the PR programme and what we learn in them.”

Lee Xin Yee, the head of Group 2 Committee, thanked Pei Yuan High School administration for granting them the approval to host the event at the school. She expressed her appreciation to all of the Pei Yuan High School students for attending, as well as her team, committees, helpers, volunteers, and sponsors for their assistance throughout the event. The event was a huge success. She hopes that the event helped the participants gain knowledge and enabled them to experience a day as PR students at UTAR.
