The essence of this documentary series is about providing a loving, happy, safe and a holistic environment for children to learn and grow, and the importance of the roles played by parents, educators and children.

Speaking at a recent media preview, Ms Angelica Lee said the idea for the series was conceptualised during the pandemic when children had to learn from the home, and she wondered about how best children can be nurtured in a positive environment.

“The reason why the series is called Dear Child, How Are You? is because there are two versions of a child that we are reaching out to. One is about our own children, and the other is the child within us.

I believe that through these stories, we can gain a better understanding of the different perspectives, be inspired to reflect, discuss, and care for each other, and think about what our children really need,” she said.
