About 30 students and staff participated in the
“UTAR Jom Hiking at Bukit Sungai Long”, a fun hiking event organised by the
Department of Students Affairs of Sungai Long Campus on 22 July 2023. The
hiking event aimed to forge closer bonds among the students, staff and
members of the UTAR community. It also aimed to raise the awareness of
preserving the green environment, nature and mental well-being.
The event was successfully held as planned and
received good feedback from the participants. They hope such events can be
held more frequently to promote UTAR Sungai Long’s recreational activities
and healthy lifestyles among students and staff.
