Tutelage session led by Mr Aaron

Following this, Mr Aaron Victor Dass from CEE conducted a session on the basics of subject-verb agreement in English grammar. The students were interactive and enthusiastically responded to the questions throughout the session. The majority of students were able to comprehend the content and answer the questions accordingly.

The scene of the mysterious murder case, 'Mariam’

Along came the most exciting part of the programme which is the English murder mystery case. The students were tasked with the assignment of finding out who the so-called killer was. For them to find out and solve the case, they must first collect clues from the 10 stations that consist of educational games set up by the CEE crew. The activities were set up to promote the English language in a fun way and showcase to students that language learning does not have to be a bore! Additionally, the programme also served to develop the soft skills of our UTAR student helpers aside from boosting their confidence.

Students were divided into a total of 10 groups where they had to go from station to station to collect clues and alibi to solve the murder mystery case. There was a total of 10 stations set up and each station consisted of English-language exercises students must solve as a team. The exercises encourage students to think critically and work together as a team. Through these games and activities, students can learn the value of teamwork.
