Deepavali celebration for international students

The Department of International Student Services (DISS) hosted a Deepavali celebration for the vibrant community of international students from India on 20 November 2023 at the DISS Sungai Long Campus office. Present at the gathering were DISS Head Mr Foo Wai Wai, 16 international students from India and UTAR staff.

The atmosphere was infused with the spirit of Deepavali, as attendees shared traditional customs with each other. The event's success was further accentuated by the delectable feast of authentic Indian cuisine, offering a culinary journey that transcended borders.
