The atmosphere was infused with
the spirit of Deepavali, as attendees shared traditional customs with each
other. The event's success was further accentuated by the delectable feast
of authentic Indian cuisine, offering a culinary journey that transcended
borders. The international students indulged in a gastronomic celebration
that not only satisfied their taste buds but also served as a cultural
bridge, connecting them through the universal language of food.
The event was more than a cultural
showcase, it also reinforced the department’s commitment to fostering an
inclusive and supportive environment for students from around the world. The
Deepavali celebration stands as a testament to the power of cultural
exchange in creating lasting connections and building a home-away-from-home
for international students.
