The UTAR STEM
Outreach organised three STEM workshops for 168 students from Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK)
Bagan Jermal on 5 December 2023 at SK Bagan Jermal, Butterworth, Penang. The
workshops were conducted by academics from the Centre for Foundation Studies
(CFS) of Kampar Campus. Among the activities conducted at the workshops were
Brain Hat Fun and Wooden Stick Puzzle. The students were comprised of
Standard 5, Standard 6 and Standard 7 in special education.
The academics involved in the workshops were Ms Chan Jer Jing, Mr Tan Jun
Bin, Ms Nur
Fadhliana binti Ithnin and Ms Ooi Siew Fong, who is also the head of the
Science and Engineering Department at CFS Kampar.
