The Department of Student Affairs of Sungai Long Campus organised “UTAR
Jom Hiking” at Bukit Sungai Long on 4 February 2023. Jointly organised by
UTAR Askar Wataniah Club of Sungai Long Campus, UTAR Crime and Prevention
Society of Sungai Long Campus and Sports Club of UTAR, the event aimed to
foster closer relationships among staff and students. Apart from that, the
objective of the event was to raise awareness of the green environment and
nature among staff and students.
A total of 23 students and two staff participated in the hiking event.
The participants hope events such as this can be carried out more often to
help promote UTAR Sungai Long recreational activities and attract more UTAR
students and staff to be involved in nature and healthier events in the near
future.
