KPBKL visits UTAR to explore collaboration opportunities

Delegates from Kolej Profesional Baitulmal Kuala Lumpur (KPBKL) visited UTAR Sungai Long Campus on 7 February 2023.

Welcoming the delegates from KPBKL were UTAR President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat, Vice President for R&D and Commercialisation Prof Ts Dr Faidz bin Abd Rahman, Faculty of Accountancy and Management (FAM) Dean Dr Pok Wei Fong, Division of Community and International Networking Director Assoc Prof Dr Lai Soon Onn, Centre for Extension Education Director Assoc Prof Ir Dr Lim Jee Hock, Centre for Corporate and Community Development Director (CCCD) Lim Guat Yen, CCCD Corporate and Community Training Head Mohd Faizul bin Ahmad, FAM Department of International Business Head Fitriya binti Abdul Rahim, Department of Accountancy Head Lim Wei Yin, FAM academic Dr Farah Waheeda binti Jalaludin and Department of Consultancy and Commercialisation Manager Hamrizal bin Haris.

KPBKL was represented by its Chief Executive Officer Radzuan Razalo, Registar Rokiah Yunus, Assistant Registrar Yunus bin Ali, Training and Consultancy Director Kamarul Azhar and Head of Unit of Community Networking and Special Project Kasniah Neni.

At the meeting, both parties discussed collaboration in the areas of joint research and development. The visit was also made to discuss student training programmes for Chinese language. On top of that, other items that were brought up during the meeting discussion were the community outreach programme, bachelor’s degree programme and university’s sustainability plans.
