UTAR gave a warm welcome to the delegates from
Multimedia University (MMU) who visited Sungai Long Campus on 20 February
2023. The main objective of the visit was to have a discussion and explore
possibilities for future collaborations.

The discussion kicked off with an opening remark from
Prof Dato’ Ewe, who said, “It is truly a privilege for UTAR to be able to
extend its continuous assistance and support towards the UTAR-Multimedia
University collaboration. I believe today will be a great opportunity for
both institutions to explore more collaborative efforts together.” He added,
“UTAR and Multimedia University signed its first MoU in the year 2010, and
although time has gone by so quickly, the MoU has made our collaboration
stronger with each passing year. I am glad that UTAR is able to collaborate
with Multimedia University. UTAR strongly believes that an MoU like this is
vital for the University to gain a wider span of diverse knowledge.”

Prof Mazliham also delivered a speech to the
attendees, saying, “This is not the first time that we have visited UTAR,
and as Prof Dato’ Ewe mentioned, both MMU and UTAR have signed an MoU
before. Thus, I hope we can continue to collaborate with UTAR and develop a
stronger partnership as we believe it can greatly benefit the students of
both institutions.”

After an insightful discussion between the two
parties, the visit ended with a souvenir exchange and group photography
session.
