Opportunities to collaborate with industry experts have widened with the visit of XP Power to UTAR Kampar Campus on 16 January 2023, which aimed to further explore collaboration in career services.

XP Power representatives, namely HR Director Goh Ai Lin and HR Manager (Business Partner) June See were welcomed by Faculty of Engineering and Green Technology (FEGT) Dean Ir Prof Dr Ng Choon Aun, FEGT Deputy Dean for Academic Development and Undergraduate Programmes Ir Ts Dr Leong Kah Hon, Deputy Dean for Student Development and Industrial Training Dr Tan Kok Tat, Department of Industrial Engineering Head Dr Khoo Sze Wei, FEGT Academic Dr Leong Sim Siong, Division of Community and International Networking (DCInterNet) Director Assoc Prof Dr Lai Soon Onn, and DCInterNet Deputy Director Dr Chen, I Chi, along with the staff.

Prof Ng thanked XP Power for showing interest in establishing potential collaborations. He then went on to share about the types of collaboration that FEGT and other industry partners have established. XP Power also expressed interest in further exploring areas relating to career services and gathering talent pools. Afterwards, the guests were brought around to tour some of the labs and lecture halls of the faculty.
