Thanks to Wen Giving for your generous donation to the UTAR Hospital Accident and Emergency Centre. The donation ceremony was held on 31 May 2023 at the UTAR Hospital Medical Block in Kampar. Mr Wen Chiu Chi and Mrs Mei Wen from the Wen Giving were present at the event.

Wen Giving, supported by Selangor Properties Sdn Bhd, is pleased to support the UTAR Hospital Accident and Emergency Centre. UTAR Hospital is a not-for-profit hospital and this Accident and Emergency Centre is an important entry point for many medical and health emergencies of the community.

Also present at the donation ceremony were UTAR Education Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Sak Cheng Lum; UTAR President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat; UTAR Board of Trustees and Council Member Datuk Lee Leck Cheng; UTAR Council Members Datuk Lim Si Cheng, and Mr Hew Fen Yee; UTAR Hospital CEO Prof Dr Lau Hui Ping; esteemed guests from Selangor Properties Sdn Bhd Mr Lee Boon Kian, Mr Tony Kassim, Ms Pung Bee Tin and Ms Vivian Yap; and staff of UTAR and UTAR Hospital.

Expressing his deepest appreciation to Wen Giving, Tan Sri Sak said, “On behalf of UTAR and UTAR Hospital, I am most grateful to Wen Giving for the generous donation to establish the Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Centre. The role of the hospital is not only to save lives, but also to provide solace and comfort to the sick, the young and the elderly. The hospital Accident and Emergency Centre is the entry point for many such patients who need medical and health assistance urgently. This Centre is important for the community as it will provide medical assistance 24 hours including paramedics and ambulance support. This A&E Centre will be a beacon of care and hope for many patients and it will serve as a reminder of the generosity of the Foundation.”

The donation ceremony ensued with a souvenir exchange ceremony, group photograph and a tour of UTAR Hospital.
