Visit by Jin Ye Ye

UTAR received visitors from Jin Ye Ye at its Sungai Long Campus on 9 June 2023.

The visitors consisted of Founder and Chief Executive Officer Alan Tan, Co-Founder and Sales Director Andy Tan, Finance Director Sephine Tung, Senior Marketing Manager Lim Swee Yee, Marketing Manager Magdalene Lim, and Advisor Dato’ Fam Lee Ee.

The visitors were welcomed by UTAR President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat, Vice President for Internationalisation and Academic Development Ir Prof Dr Goi Bok Min, M. Kandiah Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Deputy Dean for Student Development and Industrial Training Assoc Prof Dr Leong Pooi Pooi, Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Research Director Assoc Prof Dr Yong Thian Khok, and Department of Alumni Relations and Placement (DARP) Senior Assistant Manager Lee Wan Poh.

Also joining from Kampar Campus via video conference were Faculty of Science (FSc) Dean Assoc Prof Dr Lim Tuck Meng, FSc Deputy Dean for R&D and Postgraduates Programmes Dr Phoon Lee Quen, and DARP Head Tan Cheng Wah.

The discussion started with the presentation of the UTAR corporate video. Prof Dato’ Ewe then welcomed the visitors and expressed his desire to work together with them. During the discussion, both parties reached a consensus on various collaborations including, internships, partnerships on final year projects and joint research. Prof Dato’ Ewe also invited Jin Ye Ye to join UTAR’s career fair in the future so that there will be more opportunities for the students.

The visit ended with a souvenir exchange.
