The January 2023 Pop-up Market was organised by the Unovate Centre of
UTAR from 14 to 16 March 2023 at Sungai Long Campus. The objectives of the
pop-up market were to foster an entrepreneurial
culture in the campus.

The marketplace offered students and vendors a valuable opportunity to
gain practical, hands-on experience and skills development, which
complemented their existing curriculum. Additionally, the experience of
participating in the marketplace sparked entrepreneurial spirit, motivating
students and vendors to consider starting their own ventures and creating
their own companies in the near future.

Various products including food and beverages, stationeries, flowers,
fragrances, jewellery and more were sold at the pop-up market.

Overall, the January 2023 Pop-up Market was a success, attracting a
large number of visitors who enjoyed a diverse selection of products. Both
visitors and vendors had a wonderful time and opportunity to engage with
each other throughout the process of selling and buying. In a nutshell, the
market managed to create a vibrant and memorable experience for everyone
involved.
