UTAR President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat was invited to give a talk to the high school students of Foon Yew High School, Kulai and Foon Yew High School, Johor Bahru on 3 May 2023. The objective of the talk was to introduced the concept and application of artificial intelligence (AI) to the students.

In addition, Prof Dato’ Ewe also provided the students with career advice to boost their confidence and ease their decision-making regarding their future career path.

Overall, the students were able to get a good grip on the concept and application of AI. They also learned the right way to make good career choices. The talk ended with a Q&A session, a souvenir presentation session and a group photography session.
