Jointly organised by the Centre for Healthy Minds and
Wellbeing (CHMW) under the Department of Student Affairs (Sungai Long
Campus) and UTAR First Aid Society, the “Mini Health Fair 3.0 & Health and
Wellness Campaign” was held at Sungai Long Campus from 7 to 8 November 2023.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness of physical health and mental health.
On 7 November 2023, various activities were held on
campus, including a blood donation drive, health screening, health
examinations, and stress-relief activities. The blood donation activity was
conducted by Pusat Darah Negara Malaysia, and the physical health screening
was carried out by the National Kidney Foundation Malaysia. The National
Kidney Foundation Malaysia provided services such as testing blood pressure,
blood sugar level, urine and body mass index, as well as counselling. In
addition, the campaign also included psychological health screening,
conducted by students from HELP University.

Stress-free activities
On 8 November 2023, the event hosted health screening
activities, health examinations, and stress-free activities. The event also
included breast examination sessions by the Breast Cancer Welfare
Association Malaysia, physical health screening by Lembaga Penduduk dan
Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN), psychological health screening by
students from HELP University, and stress-free activities, such as karaoke
sessions.
The campaign was sponsored by Dutch Lady Milk
Industries Berhad and Galderma Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
