The Department of Mass Communication under the Faculty of Creative Industries (FCI) hosted a captivating drone workshop
on 14 November 2023 at Sungai Long Campus. The workshop, which was organised
to expose students to DJI drone technology, offered a thorough exploration
of both the technical and legal dimensions of drone usage.

The workshop served as a good opportunity
for students to learn about DJI drones, including their various features and
abilities, especially in aerial cinematography. To make this happen, the
workshop gave students hands-on experience, helping them learn how to
operate drones safely and in a fun manner.
Throughout the session, students were taught about framing, composition, and the art of taking cinematic shots from the air. The goal was to prepare the students not only with the technical know-how but also with the creative skills needed to produce captivating aerial content.
