Online Autocount Competition 2023 – Traditions and Future Directions

UTAR and AutoCount collaborated again this year for another accounting competition which took place at the Faculty of Business and Finance (FBF) of UTAR Kampar Campus. Ten academics from the Department of Commerce and Accounting together with two students from the Accounting programme organised the Online AutoCount Competition 2023 – Traditions and Future Directions on 22 September 2023.

The competition aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of accounting concepts and accounting software - the AutoCount. It was also organised to encourage students’ participation in accounting activities, evaluate students’ cognitive abilities to quickly answer questions within a time limit, and test their time management and critical thinking skills. In addition, the event aimed to promote the collaboration between UTAR and AutoCount Sdn Bhd (ACSB).
