It was a day showered with gratitude and moral uprightness when three honest students were each awarded an appreciation certificate for finding and handing over cash amounted to more than RM100.

The three students were Chong Jing Ming from the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Software Engineering programme, Donnie Tan from the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Physics programme, and Celina Yong Jia Yi from the Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering with Honours programme.

Chong was awarded for handing over a lost wallet containing RM340; Tan, for handing over a lost wallet containing RM226; and Yong for handing over a lost wallet containing RM103. The certificates were presented by the Department of Safety and Security Sungai Long Campus Head, Zainudin bin Mustaffa, on behalf of Registrar Loh Siaw Yien on 30 August 2023 at Sungai Long Campus.
