Professional exploration and networking at UTAR Career Day 2024

UTAR Career Day 2024, organised by the Department of Alumni Relations and Placement (DARP), served as a valuable platform for graduates and students to explore promising career opportunities.

Held on 27 March 2024, the engaging event that took place at UTAR Sungai Long Campus Multipurpose Hall, aimed to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world by providing networking and recruitment opportunities. In addition, the event also provided a platform for skill development and alumni engagement.

Due to the nature of the event, the students were required to equip themselves with specific skills such as crafting resumes, preparing for interviews, employing networking tactics, and mastering professional etiquette. By honing these essential skills, students can better position themselves for success in the professional world.

This year’s Career Day boasted participation from a diverse array of 65 esteemed companies, each offering valuable insights into their respective industries and showcasing available job openings.
