The Muslim international students from UTAR gathered at Putrajaya Mosque on 23
March 2024 to participate in the breaking of fast.
This event was organised by UTAR Department of International Student
Services (DISS).
As the sun began to set, the call to prayer resonated, marking the end of
the day’s fast. The international students first participated in the prayers, followed by an evening meal to break the day’s fast. The
international students shared dates and water before indulging in the meals
they had earlier purchased from the biggest bazaar in Putrajaya.
Overall, the breaking of fast event at Putrajaya Mosque was a celebration of cultural
diversity and unity, fostering a sense
of global community and mutual respect among international students.
