The presentation featured an introduction to the concept of “daruma”, a traditional Japanese doll symbolising perseverance and good luck. Additionally, participants were treated to insights into Japanese cultural practices, iconic cultural sites, and even a demonstration of comic drawing, which was a nod to Japan’s world-renowned manga culture. The presentation not only highlighted the uniqueness of Japanese traditions but also provided an educational and entertaining experience for the UTAR participants.
