In a bid to promote awareness and understanding of
the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UTAR STEM Outreach organised an
insightful workshop at Chong Hwa Independent High School Kuala Lumpur. The
workshop, conducted by UTAR Director of Office of International Affairs
Assoc Prof Dr Lai Soon Onn, aimed to equip 32 staff members (teachers) with
the knowledge and tools to integrate SDGs into their educational practices.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Workshop,
which took place on 11, 17 and 18 January 2024, encompassed a range of
essential themes crucial for understanding and implementing the SDGs. The
programme included Introduction to SDGs, Promoting and Managing SDGs, SDGs
in Practice and Progress, and Outcome Reporting on SDGs.
