The Department of International Student Services (DISS) Sungai Long had organised a three days two nights trip to Langkawi Island from 11 June 2024 to 13 June 2024.

The international students enjoyed their time going
Island Hopping and going on a Mangrove Tour. Getting to experience the
natural environment of Langkawi Island. Following Island Hopping and the
Mangrove Tour, the students went to Langkawi Sky Bridges, where they were
able to gaze upon the beautiful scenery around them.
Besides nature, the students visited Makam Mahsuri,
where they learnt about the folklore of Mahsuri binti Pandak Mayah. The
students also got to visit Perniagaan Haji Ismail Group, a chocolate
factory, where they got to buy chocolate souvenirs.
The international students had a fun time with their
visit to Langkawi Island; seeing the fresh natural environment of the island
and getting to learn the folklore of the island.
