UTAR Staff Inter-Department Bowling Match 2024

The UTAR Staff Inter-Department Bowling Match 2024, organised by the UTAR Staff Sports and Recreation Club (USSRC) of Sungai Long Campus on 8 June 2024 at Ampang Superbowl @ Ampang Point, was a fantastic success.

The friendly match saw a total of 84 participants consisting of both academic and non-academic staff from UTAR Sungai Long Campus. They were separated into twenty-one teams. The aims of the bowling match were to encourage teamwork, boost morale and build camaraderie between staff members. The match was also held to select outstanding players to represent the Sungai Long team in the upcoming inter-campus bowling match.

Also present at the match were UTAR Vice President for Internationalisation and Academic Development Ir Prof Dr Goi Bok Min, UTAR Vice President for R&D and Commercialisation Prof Ts Dr Faidz bin Abd Rahman, Registrar Loh Siaw Yien and staff.

The champion of the bowling match walked away with a trophy and a medal each; the first runner-up and second runner-up teams walked away with a medal each. The Best Bowler Woman and Man, and the Most Courageous Player walked away with a hamper each.
