A total of 87 Form 6 students from Kolej Tingkatan Enam Seri Ipoh participated in an English language on 14 June 2024, conducted by the Centre for Extension Education (CEE) at Kampar. The event aimed to create a dynamic and enjoyable environment for students to enhance their English language skills, improve grammar comprehension, and develop fluency.

CEE English instructor Ms Elene Cheong Yong Yong welcomed the students and presented the event’s itinerary. Next, Division of Programme Promotion staff Ms Chai Wei See provided a comprehensive overview of the programmes and courses offered by UTAR and CEE. CEE English instructors Ms Elene Cheong and Ms V. Bragathiswary delivered a lecture on the basics of subject-verb agreement in English grammar. The students actively participated and demonstrated enthusiasm and a solid grasp of the content.

The programme continued with a series of exercises and games designed to make learning English engaging. CEE instructors Ms Najihah binti Pazaer and Mr Beh Heng Jian led an exhilarating English murder mystery activity, encouraging participants to actively use and practise English in a supportive environment. This activity also contributed to the development of soft skills among the UTAR student helpers.
