FAM and CEE conduct exclusive training for FGV Palm Industries Sdn Bhd

FGV Palm Industries Sdn Bhd employees with FAM academics

Fifteen employees from FGV Palm Industries Sdn Bhd enrolled in the Micro Credential Sun Zi’s Art of War and Business Strategies course at UTAR Sungai Long Campus on 28 and 29 February 2024 as part of the Effective Leadership and Talent Empowerment (ELITE) Programme. The two-day course, organised by UTAR Centre for Extension Education (CEE), was conducted by UTAR Faculty of Accountancy and Management (FAM) academics. Mr Khairul Anuar bin Rusli, a lecturer at FAM, moderated the event.

On 28 February 2024, FAM academic Assoc Prof Dr Law Kian Aun delivered a captivating lecture covering the essential aspects of military strategy. Participants were guided through Detailed Assessment and Planning, Waging War, Strategic Attacks, Disposition of the Army Forces, Weaknesses and Strengths evaluation, and the art of Military Maneuvers. Dr Law’s expertise provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in successful military operations, offering valuable insights for strategic planning and execution.

On 29 February 2024, FAM academic Dr Sia Bee Chuan delivered a comprehensive lecture, covering vital military strategies. The topics included Variations and Adaptability, Movement and Deployment of Troops in different terrains, the Nine Battlegrounds, Attacking with Fire, and Intelligence and Espionage. Dr Sia provided valuable insights into the dynamic nature of military operations, equipping attendees with a nuanced understanding of strategic principles.
