UTAR and 1 Doc Holding Sdn Bhd
signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) on 27 February 2024 at UTAR Sungai
Long Campus. With the signing of the MoA, both parties will carry out a
joint research titled “Study on the Efficacy and Safety of Hair Doc
Ultrapulse for the Treatment of Androgenic alopecia”.
The signatories were UTAR
President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat and 1 Doc Holding Sdn Bhd Chief
Education Officer Dr Chin Boon Keat. Witnessing the signing were UTAR Vice
President for R&D and Commercialisation Prof Ts Dr Faidz bin Abd Rahman and
1 Doc Holding Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Dr Ong Hong Keat.

understanding and addressing Androgenic Alopecia solution through the Hair
Doc UltraPulse research study. Hair loss affects millions worldwide,
impacting individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. It’s a concern
that goes beyond mere aesthetics, deeply affecting one’s self-confidence and
quality of life. Recognising the urgency and importance of this issue, our
collaboration with UTAR aims to explore innovative solutions and therapies
to combat hair loss and stimulate hair growth. Together, we are leveraging
