Igniting curiosity: UTAR STEM Workshop empowers SMK Seri Sentosa students

UTAR STEM Outreach, in collaboration with the Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science (LKC FES) and the Division of Programme Promotion (DPP), orchestrated a captivating STEM Workshop tailored for 92 Form 4 students hailing from SMK Seri Sentosa, Kuala Lumpur, on 15 March 2024.

At the helm of this educational voyage were supportive facilitators from LKC FES, namely Dr Kwan Ban Hoe, Dr Toh Chia Ming, Dr Wong Hong Mun, and Ir Dr Mun Hou Kit.

The workshop unfolded an array of engaging activities, commencing with the exhilarating “Drone Experience Workshop” spearheaded by Dr Kwan. Following this, the participants delved into the intriguing realm of “Understanding the Electronic Brain: How Your Modern Household Items Work”, masterfully led by Dr Toh. Concluding the immersive experience was the captivating “Stirling Engine Demonstration”, expertly guided by Dr Wong.
