Voyage x Play 2.0 Exhibition displays students' artistic and gaming flair

The Voyage x Play 2.0 Exhibition! was organised by the final year students of UTAR Faculty of Creative Industries (FCI) from 11 to 13 May 2024 at The Grey Box, GMBB, KL. The captivating event featured innovative projects of 96 students from the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Graphic Design and Multimedia, the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Digital Animation, the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Game Design, and the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Game Development.

Present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition were UTAR Vice President for Internationalisation and Academic Development Ir Prof Dr Goi Bok Min, Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations Prof Dr Choong Chee Keong, FCI Dean Dr David Tneh Cheng Eng, FCI Deputy Dean for Student Development and Industrial Training Ts Dr Ang Kok Yew, Deputy Dean for Academic Development and Undergraduate Programmes Mr P. Thinavan, Department of Game Studies Head Mr Tan Han Keong, Department of Multimedia Design and Animation Head Dr Wan Irma Sabrina binti Idris, students, staff, and members of the public.


Voyage Art Exhibition

Voyage Art Exhibition is a visual art exhibition that showcased the artwork of final-year Multimedia and Animation students. The exhibition aimed to showcase all the FYP artworks and projects, including students, lecturers, and professionals, creating an opportunity for FYP students to display their works to the public. The projects included various fields such as advertising, animation, branding, publishing and web design.


Play 2.0 exhibition

Play 2.0 is an exhibition that allowed game students to present their Final Year Projects, which were video games developed over five months. The exhibition aimed to expand game students’ knowledge and build their connections to the industry.  A total of six projects were showcased. They displayed unique game features and mechanics that attracted a diverse audience. The exhibition included various game genres such as horror, action, platform, and shooting games.
