UTAR received visitors from the Malaysia Secondary Chinese School Teacher Association and Changzhou Senior High School of Jiangsu Province, China at its Kampar Campus on 30 May 2024.

The visitors consisted of Malaysia Secondary Chinese School Teacher Association Advisor Mr Lim Yock Chong, and Board of Trustees members Ms Lim Booi Hoan, Ms Chia Lee Teng, Ms Tan Ying Shan and Mr H’ng Teck Chai; and Changzhou Senior High School of Jiangsu Province Teacher Mr Wang Chao.

They were welcomed by UTAR Office of International Affairs (OIA) Deputy Director Assoc Prof Dr Chen, I-Chi, Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS) Deputy Dean for Academic Development and Undergraduate Programmes Assoc Prof Dr Wong Wun Bin, Division of Programme Promotion (DPP) Senior Assistant Manager Ms Wong Pooi Mun, OIA Senior Assistant Manager Ms Chin Sau Lai, OIA Assistant Manager Ms Yee Kai Ling, and UTAR staff.

A brief discussion was held between the three parties, in which they discussed the details of UTAR’s programme structures, scholarships, enrolment requirements of local and international students, and potential collaborations.

Following the discussion, the guests took a tour around UTAR Kampar Campus and UTAR Hospital, led by Dr Chen.
