MoA with Sinderella Kleen Sdn Bhd

UTAR and Sinderella Kleen Sdn Bhd signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) on 15 November 2024 at UTAR Sungai Long Campus. With the signing of the MoA, both parties will establish a collaborative research project where UTAR will develop an online platform for hourly maid service.

The signatories were UTAR President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat and Sinderella Kleen Sdn Bhd Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mr Yong Chan Fei. The witnesses were UTAR Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Research (IPSR) Director Prof Ts Dr Lim Yang Mooi and Sinderella Kleen Sdn Bhd Chief Technology Officer Mr Jou Boon Kem.

Prof Dato’ Ewe said, “In today’s rapidly changing society, university-industry collaboration has become a key driving force for integrating education with industry. Today, we are honoured to enter into a partnership agreement with Sinderella Kleen Sdn Bhd to develop an online platform for housekeeping services jointly. In this future collaboration, we will leverage UTAR’s strengths in scientific research, combined with Sinderella Kleen’s market needs and industry expertise, to explore new research directions and application areas. We believe that through our joint efforts, we will achieve significant results and make greater contributions to advancing and developing the relevant industry.”

Mr Yong first introduced his company, explaining its clear vision and purpose to help and uplift communities through accessible, high-quality cleaning solutions. He also detailed the company’s journey, mission, and commitment to making a positive impact in people’s lives. Mr Yong also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to UTAR for identifying Sinderella Kleen Sdn Bhd as a partner for collaboration. He acknowledged UTAR’s role in making this partnership a reality and emphasised how, together, they aim to reach new heights in serving the community and providing innovative, practical solutions for cleaner, healthier environments.
