UTAR received visitors from Kunming University (KMU), China, at its Sungai Long Campus on 25 September 2024. The visit aimed to explore possible cooperation on joint research and student/academic exchange.

The focus of the meeting was on fostering a dynamic partnership between the two esteemed institutions. The discussions revolved around various aspects of cooperation to enhance the academic and cultural exchange between them. Talent training and teacher-student exchange visits emerged as pivotal topics, emphasising the importance of nurturing a well-rounded student body through exposure to diverse educational environments.
