The Kampar Campus team, who joined
the meeting virtually via Microsoft Teams, included OIA Deputy Director

Deputy Dean (R&D and Postgraduate Programmes) Dr Lo Po Kim, FEGT Head of

Business and Finance Deputy Dean (Academic Development and Undergraduate
Programmes) Dr Peter Tan Sin Howe.
Following the welcome speech by
Prof Faidz and the presentation of UTAR’s corporate video, Ms Sultana’s
speech laid the groundwork for discussions on enhancing international
collaboration. Key topics centred on academic and research partnerships
between India and UTAR, with an emphasis on joint projects and knowledge
exchange. Both parties expressed interest in faculty and student exchange
programmes, semester-abroad opportunities, and credit transfer arrangements.
Additionally, they explored professional development initiatives for faculty
members and plans for hosting joint international conferences to foster
scholarly exchange.
The visit concluded with a souvenir exchange, group photo taking and campus tour.
