The name “Top Ten” originates from a key element of the event's early days, the “Top Ten Chinese Songs Awards”, where awards were given to honor the ten most popular Chinese songs, with the goal of raising funds to support Chinese education and various charitable initiatives. Over time, the concert evolved from an award show into a charity-focused event, all while preserving its tradition and broad influence.
Distinguished donors were warmly
welcomed to the stage to participate in the captivating Lighting, Drum, and
Gong Ceremony, to convey profound gratitude for their generous support and
contributions to UTAR Hospital
