CFS spreads joy and unity through Bubur Lambuk distribution in Kampar

In conjunction with the recent holy month celebration, the Centre for Foundation Studies, UTAR Kampar (CFS-KPR) Staff Club, in collaboration with the CFS-KPR Community Service Committee, organised a heartfelt bubur lambuk giveaway to share love and care with the Kampar community. Bubur lambuk is a traditional Malaysian rice porridge often savoured during the holy month of Ramadan, cherished not only for its rich flavour but also for the spirit of togetherness it symbolises.

The primary aim of this initiative was to foster community unity and compassion—providing nourishment while strengthening social bonds and promoting the spirit of giving. This meaningful contribution was made possible through the generous support of CFS staff members via the Staff Club, with the Community Service Committee demonstrating its commitment to serving the community through various initiatives beyond educational projects. In addition to the porridge, packet drinks, biscuits, and dates were also distributed to the community.

The event took place on 20 March 2025 in Bandar Baru Kampar, where locals flocked to the bustling Bazaar Ramadan, filled with vibrant food stalls offering a diverse array of cuisines and specialities. The strategic location was chosen to ensure that everyone could partake in the shared joy and warmth that this traditional dish brings during a period of reflection and celebration.

The committee members cherished every moment, reflecting on how this year’s bubur lambuk distribution was just one of many efforts to nurture a spirit of inclusivity and support within the community. The team members look forward to continuing their mission of making a positive impact—not only during festive seasons but throughout the entire year.
