Motivational talk and team-building workshop for SMJK San Min students

With the aim of motivating secondary school students and promoting teamwork, the Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS) of UTAR Kampar Campus hosted a vibrant school engagement project on 30 December 2024. The event drew participation from over 200 students of SMJK San Min, Teluk Intan.

The day commenced with a compelling motivational talk titled “How to achieve your goals?” delivered by CFS Kampar Campus academic Ms Lim Chiew Gan. Ms Lim shared her personal journey and highlighted the significance of self-belief and goal setting. She also provided students with practical strategies to transform their aspirations into achievements.

The excitement continued with a series of dynamic team-building activities facilitated by CFS Kampar Campus academic Mr Pan Wai Seng and UTAR student helpers. These activities not only enhanced teamwork and communication but also fostered problem-solving skills among participants.

The students’ feedback on the event was overwhelmingly positive. Lam Kang Wei from Form 2J said, “This event was truly enjoyable and special. It strengthened our friendships and showed us the importance of teamwork.” Law Sze Zen, also from Form 2J, shared, “I had a great time. The activities taught me that everyone is equally important and contributes to a team’s success.”
