CFS organises mural painting project at SJK (T) Kinta Valley

The Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS) of Kampar Campus successfully carried out a mural painting community project at SJK (T) Kinta Valley, with strong support from the school’s management. Held on 7 September 2024, this initiative, titled Innovative Walls, aimed to revitalise the school’s environment by transforming ordinary walls into vibrant works of art, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. The primary objective was to create a lively and stimulating learning atmosphere using colourful and creative murals to inspire students.

Led by CFS academics Ms Devagi Erusan and Mr Gangadurai Ganesan, the project sought to enhance students’ learning experience while fostering creativity and imagination. Murals were painted across various areas of the school compound to maximise the impact on the school’s surroundings. The project saw the enthusiastic participation of 10 lecturers and 11 student volunteers, who worked collaboratively to bring the walls to life with captivating designs.
