The Centre for Extension Education (CEE), Kampar, successfully organised an English Language Camp at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Menglembu, Perak, on 4 July 2025. It was a unique and enlightening learning experience, infused with fun, for the 41 Upper Six students.

The event kicked off with an informative session by Ms Ng Jean Ling from UTAR’s Department of Programme and Promotion, who shared an overview of UTAR’s campuses and undergraduate programme structure. This was followed by Ms P. Mohanambikay, Head of the CEE English Unit, who introduced the various English language programmes and courses offered under CEE.

Next, CEE English instructor Mr Beh Heng Jian led an engaging grammar lesson on subject–verb agreement. Students participated actively, demonstrating enthusiasm as they explored the finer points of English grammar through interactive activities.

The highlight of the day was the English Escapade, a lively language game session conducted by Ms Elene Cheong Yong Yong. This activity encouraged students to collaborate, think critically, and apply their language skills in creative ways, bringing laughter and energy to the entire camp.

The camp concluded with a closing speech by SMK Menglembu Principal Puan Rasila binti Yas, who thanked UTAR for organising the event and motivated students to continue improving their English proficiency.

This was followed by the prize-giving ceremony, where the winners received their prizes from Puan Rasila and Ms Mohanambikay.
