He introduced a detailed mind map highlighting the key pillars of entrepreneurial success, such as partnerships, finance, technology application, strategic vision, and policy awareness. He also shed light on the expanding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) market, encouraging future business leaders to integrate ESG principles into their ventures for greater relevance and longevity.

Highlighting nature-based solutions, Mr Wu discussed forest protection, sustainable palm oil, and carbon credit initiatives, pointing out how these environmental measures intersect with policy reform and financial innovation. He further elaborated on Malaysia’s renewable energy aspirations, including green hydrogen projects in Sarawak and the growing adoption of electric vehicles, outlining how these national initiatives align with the global shift toward decarbonisation.

In discussing green technology and innovation, Mr Wu showcased practical areas such as energy efficiency, green building, green chemistry, and nanotechnology. He emphasised their advantages—cost savings, scalability, and reduced environmental footprint—positioning them as tools to drive sustainable development and address climate challenges.

The presentation also explored smart city development through integrated systems and monitoring platforms. Mr Wu detailed how such technologies can create resilient urban spaces. He additionally explained how businesses can benefit financially by aligning with ESG goals, citing examples from Siemens and Alibaba, and highlighting how green financing opens doors to cheaper capital, better risk management, and enhanced brand equity.
