Stream Flow Concert 2025

UTAR Sungai Long Campus came alive with vibrant energy and cultural brilliance as the 24 Festive Drums Unit hosted its highly anticipated Stream Flow Concert 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall. The event attracted an enthusiastic crowd of over 450 attendees, including students, staff, invited guests, and members of the public.

The concert served as a significant platform to showcase the rich heritage of the 24 Festive Drums, an intangible cultural treasure of Malaysia. With 106 talented performers, 21 dedicated committee members, and 27 committed helpers, the event unfolded into a seamless blend of rhythm, drama, and artistry.

The night opened with an energetic Lion Dance, setting the tone for a series of spectacular performances.

The Stream Flow Concert 2025 was more than just a cultural showcase; it was a testament to the teamwork, leadership, and dedication of everyone involved. From meticulous planning a year in advance to hands-on involvement in every aspect of the performance — including music composition, storyline development, costume and makeup preparation, lighting design, and acting — the commitment of the students was evident throughout.

The organising committee demonstrated excellent event management skills, navigating challenges in communication and time management to deliver an event that exceeded expectations. Positive feedback from attendees highlighted the smooth flow of the programme, the professionalism of the organising team, and the high-quality of performances.
