UTAR Career Day 2025: Bridging Students with Industry Leaders

On 12 March 2025, the Multipurpose Hall at UTAR Sungai Long Campus was abuzz with excitement as students, graduates, and industry professionals gathered for UTAR Career Day 2025. Organised by the Department of Alumni Relations and Placement (DARP) in collaboration with the Career Development Club, the event served as a crucial bridge between academia and industry, providing students with opportunities to explore career prospects, gain industry insights, and establish valuable connections with potential employers.

The career fair featured an extensive lineup of 70 companies from various industries, offering job and internship opportunities in fields ranging from finance and engineering to technology, manufacturing, and consulting. Employers and recruiters engaged with students throughout the event, sharing insights on industry expectations, company cultures, and potential career pathways. Attendees seized the opportunity to network, seek guidance on career development, and understand what employers are looking for in fresh graduates.
The interactive nature of the event encouraged active participation, allowing students to maximise their experience while exploring career possibilities. It also equipped them with the skills, knowledge, and industry connections necessary for a successful transition into the workforce.
