Jointly organised by the Department of Alumni Relations and Placement (DARP) and the Malaysian Talent Education and Industry-Academia Association (MTEIA), the event brought together representatives from renowned universities and industry partners for a full-day programme of interactive sessions and exhibitions.

MTEIA, along with National Taiwan University, National Taiwan Normal University, National Chi Nan University, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Dayeh University, Nanhua University, and Chinese Culture University, took part in this initiative.

Exhibition booths at the event offered insights into academic programmes, scholarship opportunities, and career pathways. It also fostered academic exchange, professional networking, and the exploration of potential collaborations between institutions and industries from various regions. Representatives from international universities and companies introduced education pathways and career prospects to UTAR students.

Ms Catherine Jok Wan from the DARP emphasised the event’s role in aligning education with industry demands. “The event has opened doors for meaningful exchanges and provided our students with valuable exposure to the future of the semiconductor industry,” she said.
