UTAR Wushu athletes shine at Kuala Lumpur Wushu Championship 2025

UTAR Wushu athletes delivered an impressive performance at the Kuala Lumpur Wushu Championship 2025, held from 26 to 27 April 2025 at KSL Esplanade Mall, Klang.

Organised by the Kuala Lumpur Wushu Association, the prestigious annual competition gathered talented wushu exponents from clubs and institutions across Malaysia to compete in Taolu (routines) and Sanda (sparring) events.

Representing UTAR were five dedicated Wushu athletes who showcased their skills, perseverance, and fighting spirit throughout the two-day championship. Their participation underscored the university’s commitment to promoting sporting excellence and holistic student development.

The athletes’ outstanding performance earned them a total of four medals:

Beyond the medal tally, the competition provided the student-athletes with valuable exposure and experience, further enriching their journey in the martial arts.
