UTAR President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat attended the ANSO General Conference 2025: Science & Innovation for a Sustainable Future held from 28 to 29 October 2025, followed by the 4th ANSO General Assembly from 30 to 31 October 2025, at the Friendship Hotel in Beijing, China.
Organised by the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), the conference was centred on the theme Scientific Innovation for a Sustainable Future. The grand scientific event brought together leaders of research institutions, academicians, experts, and university representatives from around the world to discuss international scientific cooperation and promote the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
As a non-profit and non-governmental international scientific organisation established in 2018, ANSO has remained committed to building an open, inclusive, and mutually beneficial platform for global cooperation. The conference served as a major initiative by ANSO to foster scientific and technological exchanges among countries and regions involved in the BRI. It also reflected ANSO’s continuous efforts to advance the building of a community with a shared future for humankind, demonstrating the organisation’s growing influence and cohesion in international scientific collaboration.
