UTAR STEAM Outreach in collaboration with the Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS) Kampar and the Division of Programme Promotion (DPP), organised a motivational talk for Form 5 students of SMJK San Min on 11 September 2025.
The session aimed to encourage students to stay focused and motivated as they prepare for the upcoming Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations. The talk was delivered by Ms Soon Cai En, who shared practical tips and insights on perseverance, self-discipline, and effective study strategies to support students in achieving academic success.
In addition, Ms Chai Li Wei from DPP introduced UTAR and highlighted scholarship opportunities, including the UTAR Top Achiever Scholarship. She emphasised how hard work and academic excellence can open doors to higher education and future opportunities.
The motivational talk was well received by the students, who expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for the guidance and encouragement provided. The initiative reflected UTAR’s continuous efforts to empower young learners through education, while also inspiring them to pursue excellence and unlock their full potential.
