UTAR Bachelor of Electronics Engineering with Honours student Liew Jin Wei was recently recognised by Pearl Semiconductor for his exemplary performance in his Final Year Project (FYP) titled Charge Pump LDO.
During his engagement with the Pearl Semiconductor team, Liew demonstrated strong technical competence and a remarkable ability to grasp complex engineering concepts quickly. He also exhibited independence and proactivity in problem-solving, requiring minimal supervision. His resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity further enabled him to deliver effective and innovative solutions.
The company commended Liew for his significant contributions to the project, noting that his final report and implementation reflected his dedication, hard work, and professional excellence.
This recognition not only highlights Liew’s outstanding performance but also reflects the high calibre of UTAR’s Engineering students and the University’s commitment to nurturing industry-ready graduates who meet global standards.
