UTAR Sports Carnival 2025 brings together students, staff and alumni

UTAR Sports Carnival 2025 Inter-Faculty Games was successfully held on 6, 12, 13 and 19 July 2025 across various venues in Bandar Sungai Long and Kajang. Organised by the Department of Student Affairs, the annual carnival drew 249 players and 40 helpers, highlighting the vibrant sporting spirit of the UTAR community. 

This year’s carnival featured five main events – Futsal, Basketball Men 5x5, Badminton, Table Tennis and Bowling – with enthusiastic participation from students, staff and alumni. Each event showcased not only athletic talent but also teamwork, commitment and sportsmanship.

Beyond the scores and medals, the carnival provided a platform for athletes to improve their physical, technical, tactical and psychological skills in a competitive yet supportive environment. It also reinforced the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle alongside academic commitments. The smooth running and success of the event were made possible by the dedication and hard work of student helpers and volunteers, who played a crucial role in coordinating activities and ensuring that the UTAR Sports Carnival 2025 was a resounding success.
