The ASEAN+ Inter-University Networking Games connect universities across regions, fostering sportsmanship through competitive games. UTAR was part of this vibrant exchange, showcasing talent, teamwork, and camaraderie on an international stage.
At the 2025 Games, UTAR students displayed outstanding skills and team spirit, securing one Silver Medal in Table Tennis and two Bronze Medals in Badminton and Women’s Volleyball.

The second ASEAN+ Inter-University Networking Games was held from 22 to 23 August 2025, organised by Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). The event aimed to foster regional friendship, promote cultural exchange, and strengthen collaboration among ASEAN+ universities through the unifying power of sports.

The Second ASEAN+ Inter-University Networking Games featured tournaments in football, badminton, table tennis, and volleyball. Universities from five ASEAN economies participated, including De La Salle University (Philippines), China University of Petroleum-Beijing, Yala Rajabhat University (Thailand), Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Islam Riau (Indonesia), Universitas Kristen Indonesia, Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Ipoh (Malaysia), Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (Malaysia), and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Malaysia).
